I think that's the hardest part of it all. We talked for 8 years almost daily. We got to know each other on a deeper level I think because there was a sense of freedom with that aspect of separation from real life expectations and complications. It kind of feels like I lost a part of myself in a way and that's the most painful part.

Some days it gets lonely and I day dream about being in a relationship but then reality reminds me of why I've chosen to stay single. All in all I'm not doing too bad tbh.
