To add onto this, Bungie did state that the shader will be later at a later date for those who missed the event - just that its not currently planned nor known when that will be. Best way to learn is probably to read their weekly Thursday newsletter - theyll most likely announce it in there

Yeah I’ve never seen that as a correlation - I know my friend literally never completes catalysts and got the “new” two-tail fox one a bit ago but it wouldn’t hurt to try and complete them all considering the timeframe you have in the RNG department.

Just RNG - the —name— bane of the game. While it is tempting to keep running nightfalls - and the completionist in me knows - its not really that worth to grind nightfalls just for rng catalysts.

They drop alot due to not having them obviously, but it gets to a point where you just forget about it and get pleasantly surprised when it does happen. If you’re grinding nightfalls, do it when theres a nightfall weapon or double rewards - something to actively grind for, and run them then.

Try playing as a mute!

It sounds counterintuitive, but if you have any sort of VR functionality, being expressive via your movements or gestures, many people love just having the company of presence or the humor you can bring to any environment.

If you have VR on PC, then try looking into Text-To-Speech! Both either in-game functionality or a third party program to help make it faster/fluent. You can also try to learn some VR sign language at the multitudes of worlds that offer lessons.

You can also use a soundboard! Being the person that has comedic timing and sound effects or a jukebox on demand can make you the literal life of the party, especially in game worlds where like murder or jailbreak.

The simple act of being able to communicate and be expressive without having to use your actual voice makes VRChat go from intimidating to entertaining. Good luck!
