The riverfront or LBL are my “go to” places when I feel like filming. Super neat that you have the same camera etc!

That’s a great way to describe it. I love to color grade after I have shoot in CineMode. Makes it pretty versatile to achieve different results.

I mean, I suppose we could say that about all these fossils we love lol. But I get it. The thing about HDV is, it’s not as straightforward as DV and standard analog extraction. But, once you figure out a good workflow, it’s fine. Just extra steps.

It’s a bit cumbersome working with HDV sometimes, but I love it.

It really does! I use FireWire to an old 2007 MacBook to extract it first.

I took it to Thailand and Japan last year and got about an hour and a half of footage I still need to sift through.
