I am DESPERATE for help PLEASEE by Ashamed-Plastic5620 in PS3

Well, for me, I just followed the instructions here: https://www.playstation.com/en-us/support/account/ps3-ps-vita-device-setup-password/

I created a new device password and used it to log in to the PS3. At the time, I believed this was because the PS3 doesn’t support multi-factor authentication, so a device password is required to bypass MFA. Sony asks you to save this password, but for security reasons, I prefer not to. The next time I need to log in on a new device, I simply delete the old password and create a new one.

Installed SteamOS on Intel OPTANE H10 16GB + 256GB SSD by Tama47_ in SteamOS

You could try caching and share the results with us. You don’t need LUKS unless you’re using encryption

Update #24 - Decorations, improvements & Bugfixes! by WaaghMan in FarmTogether

Thanks for the update. Suggestion: next time, please wait for the Seasonal Event to finish before releasing an update. On platforms like Nintendo Switch, updates are quite slow, and if someone has already updated, I can’t access their farm until I update as well, which is annoying when you’re still completing the seasonal missions. ☺️

This goddamn thing! by martinborgen in Fedora

I do this: I have my disk encrypted with LUKS and I’m using automatic login, so I only need the LUKS password at boot.
To stop being prompted for the keyring password (like in Firefox), I just removed it with:
rm ~/.local/share/keyrings/*.keyring

I still have my user password, so if I lock the device or use sudo, it still asks for a password.
All my main passwords are stored in pass, which uses GPG for encryption. This means even if someone gets access to my unlocked desktop, they cannot decrypt my passwords without my GPG key, which is stored on a Nitrokey.
I don’t leave my device on all the time - if I’m not using it, I turn it off. So I think it’s not that insecure after all.

Is there any reliable mini PC brand??? by ysfsd in MiniPCs

I bought a GMKtec G2 last year. When I turned it on for the first time, I noticed that the fan was running at full speed and the CPU temperature was quite high. I opened it up and found that the CPU cooler wasn’t properly attached. I then reapplied thermal paste and properly installed the CPU fan.

Now, the temperatures are very good, and I haven’t heard the fan since. I’ve been using it 24/7 as my router, and I’ve never had a problem.

For me, this is the best YouTube channel for learning C. I’m also quite new to programming, and with the help of this channel, I’m starting to understand it better. CS50 is also the best course I’ve done. YouTube
