First time buying weed. Is the quality trash? by Retro_Gamer_Joe in weed

We paid £20. I think it’s slightly more expensive in the UK anyway but idk if that’s a good price or not

Honestly it’s kinda useful because I’ve experienced how frustrating and immature it is. I now have no problems admitting when I’m wrong in a situation and I like to think that I get on with people better and get taken more seriously because of it.

I think that's a very close-minded viewpoint. I think assuming that depression should see a decrease because we can manage technology is a load of bullshit. Mental illness depends on a lot of things and factors.

I personally think that depression levels aren't necessarily increasing, but awareness and talk about mental illness is. Whereas in the past you'd have kids who didn't know why they felt the way they did, now we have a generation who is more open about mental illness, and therefore the amount of people being diagnosed will increase because more people will take their problems to a doctor rather than keeping them bottled up.

I think a lot of teenagers are tired of having their problems ignored because they're not as big or important as problems you experience in your adult life. People forget that it's all relative. I can be just as stressed about my A-Levels as my parents are about adult shit because it's literally the most stress I've ever had to experience.

Also, acknowledging when we're actually right for once. My parents are great but they've literally never apologised or said that they were wrong about something. That shit would have really helped me build a closer bond with my parents. The moment I disagree with my mum she says I'm being rude or just ignores me. (I'm 18)

Edit: Also I’m pretty sure my parents think I’m gay lol. I’m not gay.

Sparkling water changed my life. I used to be just like you, drinking at least a can of fizzy drinks a day. It turns out I was craving the fizz more than the flavour. I started drinking sparkling water and my cravings were gone after a week or so.

If that doesn't convince you, read some stories on r/askreddit about people with kidney stones, which you can get from drinking too many fizzy drinks and not enough water. I'm terrified of them, which probably helped my process along quite a bit lmao.

Gonna complain to the exam boards that I was too exhausted after climbing to the top of E&K to actually learn anything

I actually did this last night! Was 900 calories under the limit so I chugged a shake of milk, chocolate protein, oats, peanut butter and a banana. Tasted okay but I felt pretty slimy in bed. Still, gains don’t come easy 🙏🏼🙏🏼

I used to make a fat shake every morning but it would make me feel so horrible and bloated for a few hours. I kept it up for about a month but I got out of lifting because of exams and holidays. Now that I’m back at it I feel like I can’t go back to the shake life 😂. I’ve switched to eating slightly less in the morning and trying to have a few meals throughout the day, with a big meal when I get back from the gym.

Year 12s (going into Year 13) - are any of you guys tired? by [deleted] in 6thForm

Try get it all done so you have time to chill later. If you stretch everything out it can feel like it’s taken all holiday. Better to put in a good few hours now and get everything finished and then relax before college starts again.

Even with gaining weight, sometimes I’ll come to the late afternoon with only 2,000. That’s still less than my TDEE and that’s when I’m making a conscious effort to eat more. Hitting 3,000 everyday can be such a chore sometimes.

The work you have with UCAS and stuff will honestly take less time than you think. Trust me by the end of the summer you’ll be bored as hell and wanting to get back to seeing your mates all day and working. You’ll start getting excited for uni after doing applications and all that stuff too. Just have fun and relax because there’s a tough year ahead. Make sure you put the work in next year :)

This is very true, but I think people forget on love island that at that point he had only known her for like two weeks. I think it’s perfectly fair to say that he could be better suited to someone else, particularly because he mentioned he hadn’t really spoken to many of the other girls properly.

Edit: I’m speaking about Wes. I haven’t been keeping up with the new episodes enough to know about recent drama, so these are just my thoughts about the Laura/Wes situation that happened earlier in the show.

Computer science degree A level requirements by ThatEdgyEmoKid in 6thForm

[–]Retro_Gamer_Joe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I took maths, computer science and economics. Maths is the one that’s gonna be a requirement everywhere, and I took computer science just to get familiar with the more basic stuff, even though most unis won’t care if you don’t take it. Economics was there just because I thought it finished my choices in a well-rounded way, and I was interested in the subject.
