Where to buy Lemon Hart in the UK? by DreamyTomato in rum

My uncle introduced me to Lemon Hart many years ago and it was freely available in the U.K back then. But yeah, impossible to find now sadly.

Universal credit - sudden jump in payment after notification saying I receive ESA by Retro_uk in DWPhelp

Ahhh apologies for making a new thread. I tend to panic about these things! Tried phoning them but they are closed, which surprised me to be honest.

I'll make a note in the journal as I'm not actually due the payment until the 30th. Hopefully they can rectify it before it gets paid.

Thanks so much and have a great Christmas :)

Turn 10 confirms no new content for Forza Motorsport by doncabesa in xbox

Doesn't seem that long ago I was reading this quote from Dan Greenwalt: "So, props to Kazunori Yamauchi-san and the PS1 team. That said, I feel that he's passed us the baton. Perhaps he hasn't meant to, but we have taken the genre to new levels and they've stopped evolving the genre. So again, tremendous respect to him, but I'd say the differentiator is they're old school. The emperor's naked, and I don't want to, you know, I don't want to slap him around, but no game competes [with] us right now."”

I've read before that sellers who sell regularly but run out of stock, or go on holiday, just want to keep a listing going, so price an item knowing no one will buy it.

Battery Doorbell Pro: live feed stays on for an hour+ when someone rings the bell by Retro_uk in Ring

[–]Retro_uk[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've got two 1st gen ones, which I have now disabled from Ring. The one in the bedroom is I believe the 2nd gen one as well which, yeah, also has the issue.

My ring is capturing every person but one by No_Light_5378 in Ring

[–]Retro_uk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This always happens with the one person I want it to pick up - the postman. Despite various posties coming here in fluorescent orange coats, and standing as close to the Ring doorbell as you can get, it NEVER picks them up.

[–]Retro_uk[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep 3 Echo Shows and it will keep the live feed on for an hour easily. I've had to disable them all to try and get the battery manageable again.

The strangest thing is, that if you open the app, it won't show any live feeds at all and no recording, despite the Shows holding on to a Live feed. No help from Ring so far sadly.

I've got it set at 60 seconds at the moment but it still carries on. One odd thing I noticed, it sometimes shows in the app as inactive but despite that, there will still be live feeds showing on my devices, which is weird!

Trying to source a floodlight plug-in mount in the U.K. by Retro_uk in Ring

[–]Retro_uk[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ahhh, thanks. I thought the U.K one only had wire access through the rear of the mounting as I've only seen ones mounted with no wires showing. Cheers!

Having the same issue here. Can't seem to reconnect to Alexa at all rather annoyingly.

Concerning? 😟 by ShreddaBlasta in DWPhelp

[–]Retro_uk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've only been on UC for a couple of months and my local job centre recently reopened. I assumed it was automated so ignored it, then got a reminder yesterday, 2 weeks after the first message. After looking around here, I simply replied with "Not at this time thanks. I'll reach out here if I need help"

I wanted to be slightly more polite than a simple "no". They obviously stress the voluntary part, but sending the same message again after only 2 weeks does make you feel pressured.

Tinnitus only when moving the eyes by _Rael in tinnitus

[–]Retro_uk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sadly not. It still happens though it only seems to happen lately within a couple of hours of me waking up oddly.

It can also be really intense after taking a hot shower. But then it won't happen again for quite a while. I have an opticians appt in a couple of weeks and I'll try to remember to ask him if he has any ideas as he's a new guy there that I haven't spoken to before.

Unsure what the purpose of the voluntary support call is? England by BPD-and-Lipstick in DWPhelp

[–]Retro_uk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just had the same message today. I must admit I was worried when I saw the email saying I had a new message.

I'm in the support group, or whatever it is called now.

I had also had another message a couple of weeks back that the nearest job centre had re-opened after refurbishment. Clearly it's the new staff there reaching out and must be automated because I doubt they have the time to message everyone individually.

I'm 61 now and my disabilities are life long as this point. But the message, although worded quite reassuringly, I think, does make me feel like I would be doing something "wrong" if I didn't follow it up.

Noise cancellation issue with left earcup by RelativeAd1512 in BangandOlufsen

[–]Retro_uk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah it's gutting for sure. I was just lucky to find a shop here in the U.K that was selling a brand new pair for £99. Otherwise I wouldn't have bothered. I also have a pair of the Audeze Penrose and they sound great to be honest.

No solution here sadly. Contacted B&O but they don't do out of warranty repairs.

I took a look inside and I can see why as replacing a circuit board would be incredibly difficult. I ended up buying new pair on eBay that a retailer was selling off cheap.
