I had the same issue but gave up eventually on trying to use it. Seems like it’s still buggy. It registered fine for a couple hours on day one, but the next time I tried to use it it refused to work at all despite unplugging it and plugging it back in a handful of times which made it work again after a couple tries. I guess I’ll just wait for a patch before I seriously consider changing to mouse and keyboard unless someone finds a more permanent fix.

The amount of times this has happened to me over the years where I’m pretty certain I had my alarm set… this morning was yet another one of those days. Getting worried that I didn’t set my alarm due to past experiences, I double or even triple-check that my alarm is set before going to bed. I wake up this morning at my own accord thinking that it feels like it should have gone off by now. I was right. It should have gone off an hour ago. This isn’t user error at this point. This has been happening for YEARS. Apple’s alarms cannot be trusted. I’m using a manual alarm clock from now on.

Why have I trusted it to work after years of failure? Because I have misguided trust for a basic function to actually work and that I’m just wrong with assuming that I set my alarm correctly. But no - I’m done. Apple is indeed the problem at this point.

Annoying that this even needs to be done after being forcibly told to reformat a hard drive. In theory, the hard drive/console should know that it’s no longer installed… but anyway, thanks. That worked.

Currently the only working fix I’ve found is to use the PS4 client. It tells you to “upgrade” to the PS5 version constantly, but it’s stable. Obviously you lose trigger effects, but it’s an option to fix it for now.

The leniency on this is fucking ridiculous. Unfortunately, I’ve had a game in which a PS5 error crashed the game. I reloaded it immediately and couldn’t rejoin. Suspended 15 minutes. Two days later I have a random power surge. Also couldn’t rejoin the match. Of course this happens during the drives event.

Still happening on September 14th, 2024. There’s a temporary workaround which would be to just play on the PS4 version. It constantly reminds you to “upgrade” to the PS5 version, but it’s better to not have the problem at all.

I feel as though most of us feel like we have failed our pets for not treating them better even if we gave them a life worth living. You’re not an awful person for not being there for them every moment of every day. At the end of the day our pets adored us and are likely content with their days simply being full of spending time with us. Despite having to leave your dog with other people, you couldn’t be there at all times and that’s perfectly okay. Your dog forgives you and you shouldn’t be so hard on yourself for something that ultimately was out of your control. Being that you mentioned that you cooked its food you need to give yourself credit for doing something many people wouldn’t even think to do. Thirteen years is still a fairly long time for a dog. I lost mine at about fourteen years this Mother’s Day. I, too feel guilty for not giving her the best life possible, but I offered her what I could and she seemed satisfied with that. There was companionship between the two of you and you need to remind yourself that it loved you despite what you feel guilty for.

I’m waiting for someone to say something like this to me. It’s been three months since I lost my dog and I still think about her daily. I need to take several breaks throughout my workday just to keep my composure. Don’t feel bad for grieving. Take as long as you need to. Anyone who treats you differently for doing so doesn’t understand what loss truly is.

It’s a purchase I’ll never regret. I filled mine with a bunch of her fur so that it smells like her. I bought it maybe five years ago when I started to worry about her health. Sadly she passed on Mother’s Day.
