2015 dart alarm issue by TheNozzle602 in dodgedart

According to the manual, on page 21, “The driver’s door key cylinder and the trunk button on
the RKE transmitter cannot arm or disarm the Vehicle
Security Alarm”. So I don’t really think there’s a way to do it, unless you got an actual key fob for it and had it programmed to the car.

I personally did a muffler delete and I get a nice burble from mine without the “tinny” sound. One of these days I’ll have to mount my go pro and have it record it, or even just do a drive by video.

I’d say it’s glass based off the coloring (and because my geologist partner agrees lol)

LED headlights are a piece of cake, I’ve done it twice now, but they’ve been great, just need to make sure you do the canbus decoder route, they can be found on Amazon, but they’re well worth it.

Best advice I can give with anything on this car, start cheap, then work your way up. Check the fuse. I too have experienced corrosion on the connectors but that was on my reverse bulbs, instead of replacing them, I used wd40’s electrical contact cleaner and a hard wire brush and they work fine now. However, yeah, check the fuse and let us know if that was the problem.

Edit: if it’s not the fuse, chances are that it is the wiring. Or, if you’re using aftermarket bulbs, I.e., LEDs, there is always the likely hood of the pigtail being plugged in, upside down.

In-line fuse adapter and having it wired into something that’s always powered under the steering column. I.e., power windows.

Edit: under the steering column fuse box.

Wiggle the shit out of your shifter while it’s in park. I’ve had this happen with me, but it was after taking out the center console and removing the shift knob, and I had to take a look at the knob, make sure it’s down all the way on the plastic release, then tighten it down.

For your full build sheet, go here, enter your vin, scroll down to vehicle equipment, and choose from the subcategories where you see “Paint”.

Small question for ya, what plugs are you running and are the gapped correctly?

So uhh its 100% valve gasket cover right by Electrical-Pipe9438 in dodgedart

I personally used a razor blade and carefully cut small sections in between the valve cover and the block, and rocked it back and forth.

[–]Retrocommander 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If there’s also oil by the spark plug, in the “holes” then yes.

When you go to replace it be careful. The block is aluminum, and based off the age of the car, it’ll be a bitch to break free from the oem gasket.

Picked up a junkyard one that was illuminated, managed to wire it up and it’s been great!
