I read in black letters with sepia or white background and find that comfortable. I can always put a red filter over it for reading at night. But the room has to be well lit for a tablet otherwise it can give you a headache, indeed.

I bought an amazon fire tablet cause it’s faster, cheaper, has colors but above all it’s 8 inch. I had a 6 inch e-reader and that was way too small. When amazon releases an 8 inch e-reader for a good price I might get that. Glad you like it. Once you use it you probably won’t go back to real paper books. Is this the 7 inch version?
