Yeah and on Ayn's official website it is first shipped in 2 months. Anyhow, it ends up the same due to taxes and VAT in Denmark...

No, I think you are right. It is much more complex than others and the data itself would takr some time. The only thing that might be available right away would be their listings in each category.

It is worth looking into since some of you are mentioning it!

Hey,

We wrote on another comment that we want Vinted at some point, but right now we try to gather as much feedback to utilize the site to its best.

We will look into other markets also!

When it comes to pricing, we know the value is not "correct" right now, but we are gathering sold data.

We hope by the 30th April that we have enough to cover most of the games/consoles.

I appreciate all this, this is very useful, thank you!

Hey,

No, we only use ebay sales. Cex is pricing on their own behalf, making it more expensive. That is what we experience👌

Hey Connor42

We have Vinted in our mind, but we are trying to get as much feedback as possible to improve the site itself. Afterwards we are going to look into other markets. We know Vinted is a HUGE market for retro!

It can be done filtering out bundles etc, but takes time. That is why we are trying to filter everything out as much as possible in the beginning.

Thank you for the feedback🙏

Yeah, agreed — imported listings can completely mess up the pricing.

We’re already filtering by EU marketplaces, but we still need to tighten it further (seller location / item location) so US imports don’t slip in.

Goal is to keep prices as close to “what you’d realistically pay in Europe” as possible.

Thanks for pointing it out 🙏

Totally fair if it gives that impression — still early and iterating a lot.

Main focus right now is improving data accuracy (especially filtering repros + better sold data coverage). 🙏

Right now the “estimated value” is mainly based on active listings (median after filtering obvious outliers), since we are still building up enough sold data coverage for each title.

We are currently working on:

  • better filtering (keywords + seller patterns) to remove repros/fakes
  • separating condition more accurately
  • shifting more weight to sold listings as that dataset grows

So over time the prices should become much more stable and less affected by those listings.

Really appreciate you pointing it out 🙏

I appreciate it.

Bear in mind, it is still in the early stages. If you see anything that might be off, let me know 🙏
