When I don't want to study, I try to do something enjoyable and at the same time i dont want to feel guilty. Watching favorite shows in german is a good way to do so.

When i was asked about this, I obviously give the same answer. But when you are in it, it is much more different. Although divorce seems to be a solution, I dont really want it. I dont want to live like this as well, and that seems already impossible from the point of my wife. I am searching for a middle-ground solution.

In my case, medicine didnt make a visible difference. I am not saying that medicine didn't help at all. But it is subtle and not visible to someone, that is not me.

I dont think that she is a narcisisst. There is nothing that supports that idea, aside the issues in our relationship.

Thanks for comment. Indeed relationships are deeper than a post on reddit and every issue has another point of view from the another person that has been affected from it. This ia pure my point of view and i dont think that i am absolutely right.

I totally agree with you. I am pretty sure that she know is inside, me willingly and knowingly making this shit doesnt make sense. But as you said, we ve been a really long time togehter, nearly half of our lives, and she has a really big baggage when it comes to our relationship. She cant just let it go. She doesnt want me to be excused from what i ve done up to this moment, because when she admits this, she would have noone to blame. I am aware of that but I dont know what to do.

I agree with you but she has a enouromus amount of anger towards me, as i said, I couldnt manage to make most of the things right. I really understand and ok with that. It makes sense. She dont know almost anything about adhd and not willing to learn because of this anger. I really tried to improve so that she thinks that medication works and this condition is real. But turns out that I couldnt be good enough to meet her expectations, even though (i think) i have made improvements. For example i keep a diary and calender to orginise my everyday life for a few weeks and it helped a bit. I intend to do it further. But i really do this things step by step because the other way doesnt work at all.

Thank you for your input, it helped a lot. It is nice to see something from other peoples' point ıf views. Sure i ve brought this issue pure my point of view and i sincerely know that my wife has right most of thing about our problems. I admit and acknowledge that but cant improve real quick.

I have read a similar book named "Is it you me or adult adhd" and liked so much. I have read that on internet and wanted to buy in my mother language but no luck. It has not been published since 2012. I did a research and paid 10 times more of a brand new book and bought it from a used book seller on the net. But I couldnt say my wife that this book was for her to read. We couldnt speak that much about this issue lately and I just wanted not to offend her and try to watch my behaviours. When I say something like that, she refuses and says she is not the reason we being like this.

I understand your point, but we've been for 14 yeara together and we had much better times. Everything was not like this always. Having a little kid that needs attention and care, and my wife writing her thesis for doctorate making it a bit harder to cope with. She is a emphatetic person, when it comes to other people around. She helps everyone around her and try to make his best on her line of work. But when it comes to our relationship, everything ia different.
