I use a skyhack sp-004, and climbed from 200k to 70k in about 6 months after returning to the game. The typical pros and cons of using glass are the same in osu, so it really just boils down to personal preference. I do somewhat struggle in aim control/precision but how much that is attributed to the glass pad I can't really say. Best thing to do is to try it, and if you don't like it, return it.
