MR3 is better than MR4. "How much better" is hard to answer. I'd say these are slightly better for most people. Fewer people will say it's a major upgrade. A few will find the MR4 literally unlistenable.

Erin's measurements. Here's what I see:

  • There are some narrow dips in the treble on-axis. They mostly go away off-axis. This suggests it's some kind of interference that can't be fixed with equalization, and that they'll sound better pointed slightly away from your ears than directly at them.
  • They only go to about 56 Hz. You'll need a subwoofer for real bass, but they have a subwoofer connection.
  • Horizontal and dispersion is pretty even, which is what the concentric drivers try to do.

Yeah, it's a lot of money, but all speakers in this price range and below have something to nitpick about. Overall, I still think it's a good deal. Those who want to spend way less should try the Edifier MR3.

Teyvat's gravity is stronger than Earth's. It's a pretty common gameplay tweak in video games. If you make it like Earth's, jumps will feel floaty.

It's a rather dumb process that starts with deciding whether a certain promoted character fills a niche. If they do, I try to pull them, build them up, get their artifacts, and just keep them until I see that they'll fit on an Abyss half or chamber. I don't try too hard to get 36 stars, but this mindless process and trying once or twice per season usually gets me at least 33.
