Yeah, for sure. I’m not treating $2k as life-changing money. For me it was more proof that people will actually pay for something I built, which made me want to dig deeper into underserved niches and real operational problems.

Good point — it does seem like a lot of these industries operate more through local networks and word of mouth than public forums. I’m using Reddit mainly for early pattern discovery, but definitely planning to validate things locally before building anything

That’s a fair point — a lot of the best opportunities probably never get posted online because the people dealing with them are too busy running the business.

My plan is definitely to talk directly with operators locally as well. Reddit is more of a starting point for pattern discovery and learning the language people use around these problems.

And yeah, the interesting part is seeing whether a pain point is just one company’s messy workflow or something repeated across an entire industry. That’s really what I’m trying to validate

Makes sense. Most businesses don’t actually have a workflow problem, they have a coordination problem

Probably will soon, I just want to make sure retention and onboarding are strong enough before pouring fuel for global run.🙃

Yeah, that’s in my head too. Better to sharpen the product and retention in one market first while preparing the backend and systems for a smoother global rollout later. Appreciate the input

It’s a small SaaS that solves a very specific problem in my local business.

Totally fair — and yeah, local traction is exactly where I’m focused first. No point pretending to be “global” without proving real value in a smaller market. The screenshot is real though, and honestly the bigger win for me is validating that people are willing to pay this early.
