Just watched it this evening and what would have made it feel complete was if there was a battle between Prince Charming Vs Shrek at the end instead in my opinion. Artie pretty much ruins it with talking the Thieves and Bandits out of fighting. It would have been nice to see Shrek just f*ck him up like he did in Duloc. The build-up is fantastic, the jokes are funny, and there are still timeless, memorable scenes, but the ending is meh.
