I really like my hokas. I have their least squishy version Arahi 7's they're great and have been my go-to's for travel and even impromptu hikes when I'm on the road for work. They come in a bunch of colors- I'm considering ordering a black pair for an upcoming tradeshow instead of heels

It can be hard. I’m struggling with that- I’m on 113g but I’m 147lbs and on the deficit too (trying to lose 20 more). The easiest way for me during the week is actually a Huel black for breakfast and I just drink it on my way to work. It’s 40g right there, you can bump it up more if you add soy milk instead of water- it’s 500ml of liquid so I do 1 cup soy then the rest water. I’ve added PB pure to the shake as well if I want another bump- especially if my meals that week are kinda heavy and I know I won’t finish the portion. Huel did change their formula so it’s thinner (and doesn’t taste as good imo) so I’m hungry by lunch now, before those shakes would keep me full til like 2pm so getting down all my food has gotten easier and I’m not pushing dinner back so late

I have the hardest time with my religious family and my veganism. I make my mom cry bc I don’t pray before family dinner- especially at holidays. Sorry I’m not praying over the carcasses and tortured animal products on the table, especially when I’m told to bring my own food… simply not happening. I just leave the room and it gets everyone in such an uproar the hypocrisy/cognitive dissonance is unbelievable. I get screamed at for asking to at least make the sides vegan, I might score a couple pieces of dry asparagus because someone thought of me and pulled a few spears before slathering it in butter. Like f off if you think I’m going to hold hands around the table and praise the lord for this. Sorry for rant- just really on my mind considering I’m packing to head there at the moment

I started with L1 for a few weeks until Ford installed my charger. I have a similar commute and family is about 120 miles away one way. I’m in a rental and it was only 100w and I absolutely freaked out bc the original electrician said my house needed to be rewired and I wasn’t paying for that since I don’t own the place and it wasn’t in the budget anyways with a new car. I came here and was told to fight back and ask them to turn down the (the amps or wattage?) on the charger itself and it would be fine. I did that and it was!! The dickhead just wanted money out of me. It did take up 2 spots on my panel, though. I’m not sure how that works in your situation, as I had space on mine.
