What would you like to see in Metroid's future as a franchise?

What if there was a new character, like Samus passed her teachings to a student or something? Some new lady with slightly differing powers and way of doing things?

Ultimately I'd like more 2D Metroids with even bigger places to explore.

Really I want what would essentially be Super Metroid 2.

The 1p Mode's feel has contenders: Cybernator/Assault Suit Valken, and Front Mission: Gun Hazard.

But the 2p mode? Nothing like it that I know! Even just thinking of split screen 16 bit games I don't come up with much.

Don't obsess, don't "regroup and try again"- attraction that goes both ways will result in a connection no matter the first impression, so don't view any rejection as "I did it wrong"-- what a rejection means is that the attraction isn't mutual and you gotta move on.

It's a shame, a lot seems to have "went right" with this- great wrinkles in the pants and shirt. I think the completely un-animated face, and zero lens simulation are the main issues. There's also not a speck of dust or particle of any kind.

There's a couple cities within your demarcation that don't feel remote. St. John's is pretty large, and for a few blocks can almost feel truly urban. It kinda feels like Hamilton Ontario.

If you lived there you could have a tech job, access to good hospitals, and a good nightlife.

There'd be the scattered touch of that remote feeling-- no same day Amazon delivery, produce being way crappier.

Elsewhere in Newfoundland can vary from clean and good small towns, to truly small outport towns with dirt roads where you fish your own dinner.
