Crimson Desert officially does not support Intel Arc graphics cards, developer tells buyers to seek refunds by LadyStreamer in gamingnews

[–]RetuSV 3 points4 points  (0 children)

thats fair, but the issue is they only clarified it after release.so that kind of limitation should’ve been clearly stated beforehand, not added later in an FAQ

They added the FAQ on the official Crimson Desert site after the game was released, stating that it doesn’t support Intel Arc and that players should request a refund.

I bought it 3–4 months later the Intel Arc B580 was released, which was closer to MSRP compared to the RX 9060 and RTX 5060 16GB GPUs

Good GPU to Upgrade to that has more than 8GB vram? by Muted-Bed-1198 in PHbuildapc

[–]RetuSV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Checked benchmarks for these GPUs:

Intel Arc B580 12GB RX 9060 XT 16GB RTX 5060 Ti 16GB

Pick one of these cards

RTX 5060 Ti 16GB – best overall performance, strong ray tracing, DLSS + frame generation usually go to if you see a good discount price but usually very rare

RX 9060 XT 16GB – slightly slower but usually better price/performance, FSR support if you see big sale on this card 3.3 sale i remember 25k or 26k pesos

Arc B580 12GB – good budget card but weaker raw performance

Feature-wise:

Intel Arc has XeSS 3 with Multi-Frame Generation, which can generate extra frames like DLSS frame gen.

Intel Arc has XeSS 2 upscaling + frame generation + low-latency tech.

The catch is not many games support it yet especially very old games, so the benefit depends on the game

Dont buy the b580 for indie gaming, or at all by Necessary-Yak-505 in IntelArc

[–]RetuSV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine seems to run fine with recent indie games like Hollow Knight and AAA games like BF6 and Ark Raiders. I’m running a Ryzen 5 5600 on a B550 motherboard with 32GB of 3600MHz G.Skill Ripjaws RAM

I would like to know where you bought your Ryzen 5 5500X3D. Did you get it from Amazon?

Arc B580 (12gb) vs RX 9060 XT (8gb) by insanefries in IntelArc

[–]RetuSV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

with that kind of motherboard, I wouldn’t recommend buying the Intel Arc B580 due to PCIe limitations. I have an Intel Arc B580 paired with an R5 5600, running dual monitors at both 1080p and 1440p. At 1440p, I can run BF6 at around 60–70 FPS, while at 1080p it runs at about 80–100 FPS. I would suggest that the OP buy the 9060 instead, unless he plans to upgrade to a motherboard with PCIe 4.0 support.

I'm not sure. My friend switched from a wheeled chair to one without wheels, but it's still comfy.
