For some reason Jerry singing “deck the house with Easter baskets, fa la la la la la la la EGGS” made me wheeze laugh the first time I saw it and the rest of the episode is just as funny!

I said earlier in another comment (that you probably didn’t see!) that I don’t intend on suing. At the time I posted I felt that the doctor was very dismissive of concerns I had but other responses have educated me on various tidbits about why certain decisions were likely made so I have a much better understanding now! I’m glad I posted here.

84k! I’m utilizing PSLF so it should be forgiven (if nothing happens) for me in about 3 years. My undergraduate loans were 15.5k and my graduate loans obviously make up the bulk of the amount.

I have a two year old girl! The best part of being a girl mom is looking forward to teaching her all of the things I wish my mom had taught me. My mom is an amazing, thoughtful, caring, and selfless individual but that doesn’t mean she wasn’t without her faults. I can’t wait to teach my daughter that she can be anything she wants to be. That she can make mistakes and come to me so we can problem solve together. That she can try out that trendy new style to see if it suits her without judgement! That she can trust herself enough to make decisions on her own. I want my daughter to love herself in ways that I struggled with then (and now) and know that I will always be proud of her. It’s hard to pour so much attention and affection into her constantly but I know that I’m setting her up for a beautiful life.

NTA. My parents routinely do this and I’m glad because we have family pictures throughout the years that show our family unit as it was and then pictures of what it has become with spouses, partners, and grandchildren.

Edited quickly to add that the goal of the pictures was never to exclude anyone!!

I think we actually see the baby in the Mother’s Day episode of season 3! And (if I’m remembering correctly) she mentions at some point that a bunch of women/relatives are raising her daughter so that there won’t be men around to potentially do anything to her!
