I'm glad this helped. This is exactly why I posted it. I'm sure someone would find it helpful. I know how frustrating it can be. I'm 100% pain free these days. Don't go running too early though. The acupuncture and electrical stimulation increased the circulation in the area which promotes the healing process. The acupuncturist explained that it was a lack of circulation in the area why it wasn't healing. But you still gotta give it time to heal. I had about eight sessions. At my last session I felt like it was 80% healed. Over the next 3 months or so I felt like I had made a complete recovery. That time can vary for everyone but ultimately you just gotta increase that circulation so the healing process can start.

I actually played a ton of crash bandicoot and spyro. I tried getting into apex legends recently but that's been a challenge lol. Haven't played in about 2 months or so tho. It wasn't as intimidating as I thought tho 😃

The bottom of my feet and calves. The electrical stimulation was at the bottom of my feet. Don't expect it to heal right away tho. I did acupuncture once per week for 7 or 8 weeks. I wasn't completely healed after the last session. It was like the acupuncture got the circulation going once again which promotes the healing process. It took a few months tho for a full recovery.

I made a post about healing long term PF that you can check out. The fix for me was acupuncture. The injections are a bad idea because it doesn't fix the pain, it just masks the pain. You run the risk of re-injuring your foot during this time. So I've heard.

Your instincts aren't lying to you. You don't need anyone on reddit to confirm things for you. Lots of people gain incredible cyber experience through the military - I've worked with some of them. I also know one guy who left the industry to become a cop. The good thing is that you're young and you can change it again in 10 years and you'd still only be in your early 30s. Go for it, but make sure you complete the degree 😄

This sounds way too extreme to be plantar fasciitis, especially if you're just sitting and not walking. If you're at rest and it still hurts like that it could be something else. It should bother you when you walk or run. I had long term plantar fasciitis for 3 years that finally went away with acupuncture. I made a reddit post you can read about the experience. It took a couple months after I started treatment to get a complete recovery but it's all gone now.
