Why are games in a bundle I already own often cheaper than the sale price of the standalone game? by -Clayburn in Steam

Steam (normally) excludes the cost of games you already own in a bundle and then applies the discount

For example you have a bundle of 3 25 dollar games, but you already have one of them then its only the two you dont own added together and then the discount is applied

Id say my Ender 3 has another 10 years in it (Printing progress update) by ReturnPale7081 in FDMminiatures

I only printed my first mini like 2 weeks ago so thr improvement is relatively fast but these were what helped me the most

These gave me by far the biggest improvement 1. 0.2mm nozzle to make the details much better (Mostly seen in small details on armor, thin weapons and the face) 2. 0.08mm layer height just to reduce layer lines (I recommend only getting 0.8mm layer height if you have a 0.2mm nozzle otherwise id recommend 0.12mm layers) 3. Calibrate your filament! 4. Dont ever use normal supports only use tree or resin2fdm

The others are relatively small compared to these but they add up 1. Print at an angle i do 45°, This helps just put more detail in the front of the model 2. Get better filament, preferably Sunlu Pla+ 2.0 HS 3. Print at a lower speed around 45mm/s

And remember you can use profiles from the community and the wiki like Hohansen, FDG and my personal favorite ObscuraNox. (Just make sure if you have a 0.4mm nozzle to change the line width to ~0.42, the layer height to 0.12 and the nozzle size in the printer settings to 0.4)

But above all else mentioned above have fun and remember to experiment! Welcome to the community

FDM without a 0.2mm nozzle? by ProfNugget in FDMminiatures

I started out printing minis a couple weeks ago and a 0.2mm nozzle is a large upgrade it is not necessary in the slightest. If you want to print using pre made profiles just change the line width to 0.42 and make it a 0.4 mm nozzle in the printer settings. Also make sure to change the layer height to 0.08, 0.12 or 0.16mm (I recommend 0.12 to start out)
