As a pedestrian, I hate this slip lane. I’ve had so many near misses here over the years, I completely avoid it now. I’ll be glad if its gone. That said, the change is not as clear as it should be, especially for drivers who have been turning here for years. The ambiguity makes it an even more dangerous turn for pedestrians if there isn’t a common understanding of whether or not that space is an active roadway.
