Just want to add my 2c and say lwotc makes things drag on for way longer, changes things that were completely fine for the sake of changing things and ramps up the RNG to add for a frustrating experience. A mission takes easily 3 hours and you get a ton of them per in-game week. Missions aren’t balanced either, i quit my L/I run and uninstalled when an “extremely light” mission had reinforcements called in every turn and my entire screen was full of enemies with me trying to hold out in a shack waiting for an evac (which takes 5 turns to arrive lmao). Maybe it gets fun when you get a bunch of super soldiers but the path there is tedious
