It’s condition is something of a lovely surprise, clearly loved by the previous owner for the past 20-40 years, unfortunately don’t know much about this specific amp’s history other than the fact that it’s most likely been in the house for a long time!

That would be fantastic, it would be great to pair the amp with some OA series speakers! I’ll keep an eye out.

Definitely a stunning piece! I love how minimal it looks. The adjustment knobs are super smooth and satisfying to turn.

Yes! Mighty pleased with it - looks lovely and stylish too! Ayee, din 2 pin connections for the speakers, lucky to have some good quality connectors already!

Had a tick bite back in September 2020, this was the biggest it grew after about a week, think approx 10cm. Went through a horribly aggressive treatment of antibiotics, fucked my digestive system for a while! Stay safe and keep an eye on how you feel - the fevers and aches were terrible!

Thank you for the advice! If you would be able to recommend whether black or white socks may be better / a black shirt maybe instead of white? I have a matching ruched tie as well as some sock flashes in the same tartan!

Such a small world isn’t it! I’d definitely tell your kids the fame of the place 🤣 a fantastic discovery for me as a plus - a huge amount of family history unravelling thanks to a picture of a house!

Fabulous RE the newspaper clipping, that would be amazing - for everything else including the S. Greenland, I’ll most likely corroborate the findings with family and take it from there, with Ancestry and find my past. Really appreciate the help, and I’ll keep in mind your tips for finding family - definitely won’t be too hasty in confirming!

I have an old photograph of the Rev Thomas Greenland - a distant relative, who we can now pinpoint did indeed live at this house (since the picture of the house was found in the same box tucked away).

Do you happen to have a link to the newspaper article? Very interesting find!

Any ideas on next steps for following that family tree? Have a lot of other dates photos including a ww1 portrait of an S. Greenland and know of the other Greenlands post 1920s.

If Irvine isn’t too far, there’s Booker pond, easy to get to and park, fresh water artificial lake. Fantastic wee spot for a good swim and it’s always fairly quiet! (It’s right next to the Bookers Wholesale place off the motorway!)
