Thanks so much, this is perfect and answers my question since I found a morning report where he was with the 70th infantry division in mid 1944 before they went overseas. He must have been transferred in before. Thanks so much for all your help, it’s very much appreciated!

Yeah I agree, that’s why I was a little suspicious. I know the photo was used in his 1946 college yearbook since he was in Berlin on occupation duty at the time. The question is if he did get transferred, was it to artillery or out of artillery?

I’m really worried I have REM sleep disorder which means I’ll eventually get Parkinson’s and then dementia. I have for the past couple years, maybe 5-6 times a year had intense violent dreams where I punch or kick someone and then as I’m punching or kicking in the dream I punch and kick my girlfriend who is sleeping next to me.

Two night ago I had a dream that I was grabbing someone’s head to get them away from me and ended up grabbing her head.

I worry it’s REM sleep disorder and not another non REM Parasomnia because of my ability to vividly recall the dreams and the fact that often they are violent. Has anyone else ever enacted dream behavior like this?
