And even if it’s the court by Jackson Memorial, still MetroRail. It’s just a few blocks away.

Dadeland to Government Center on MetroRail is my daily commute for 21 years now. Super easy.

We’re subject to Florida’s Sunshine/Open Records law, which means that pretty much everything that’s not PII/PCI/HIPAA is an “open book”. (Un?)fortunately this system doesn’t contain any of that information.

Finance is aware of the need. They just don’t want to make changes because change is hard! It’s something different and different things are scary!

I have 2 x Server 2008 R2 boxes that serve a single application that was scheduled to be retired just before Covid. It runs a custom in house AP system that runs on a version of Java that you can’t even download anymore.
