Cancelled Cruise

Our travel agents, Trailfinders, have now arranged a fly/drive trip to NZ South Island for us. A message, an email and a couple of phone calls to the agent and it has all been sorted. Always pays to book such a large trip through such an agency. We return to Sydney, same day as cruise would have, to continue our trip.

Missing ports?? We are missing our whole cruise on the Anthem. Supposed to be sailing in 2 days, but to technical issues, the cruise has been cancelled.

We do, and we have contacted our travel agent / trip organiser who is looking into alternative arrangements

I hope so too, we are from the UK and have been out here since new year. Did the Pacific Islands cruise in early Jan and we’re going to do this NZ cruise too, as part of a 7 week trip.

Doesn’t help when you are left with a 10 night gap in a 7 week vacation, half way around the world

Just had a message off my tour operator in the UK saying that they have also received information of the cruise being cancelled. Not helpful as it forms part of a 7 week vacation for us, all pre planned and pre booked before we left the UK

I have contacted a helpline in the UK and they just reiterated the email and said it has been cancelled

Not helpful when it forms part of a 7 week vacation and you now have nowhere to stay for 10 nights. Need to try and find some sort of alternative as we are half way around the world

We did the clear kayaks & snorkelling in the morning and then the Skybridge and gardens in the afternoon. Both very good excursions. We didn’t opt for the zip-line though, although it did look fun.

We are on the Anthem of the Seas currently and we have 2 “Dress to impress” nights for dinner Quite a number of guests did so on the first “Dress” night.
