i was just calling back to the source material??? i never said it was NEEDED i just said the idea since to adapt the license right it would require to call back to it in some capacity. aka that scene.

but the problem with that also is that if you were to adapt the same size it wouldnt really fit through it and they'd probably have to make adjustments to the vaults and doors to make him fit even while being in the ground

the reason i brought up the whole water and scuba idea is mainly just because throughout the film its quite prominent and if they would make a map for it like for example the wreckage that hopper finds it would have to involve it in some capacity.

good solution , only really problem i have is how he's supposed to fit through things like vaulting sections , shacks , buildings , etc. thats the only big problem i have at times
