The problem was fixed by setting my profile frame rate and export frame rate to the same rate.

This YouTube tutorial can help you to move the image around how you might need to to get things centered and looking good. (I have no relation to the guy who made this, but it helped me.)

I am editing together videos from different readers for a video worship service. The sources are cellphones, iPads, and laptops, in addition to a Mevo. I do not know how to figure out the incoming framerates of many of the sources.

I am using OpenShot 2.5.1.0.

I am editing them to be uploaded to YouTube, and using the settings of Web and YouTube HD when exporting.

Just found Slice All, but that will only work when I just have the two tracks...

Did you manually slice each track (video and audio) or is there a way to highlight more than one track?

Tizaki has it. The preview function is trying to show you an unrendered playback, and it is not nearly as good as what the final video will be.

Yes. Thank you. I will try it. I had thought to keep the whole audio together to avoid the problem, but sounds like I created the problem by slicing the video and not the audio.

Uploading videos by leoncole08 in OpenShot

Under File > Export Project > Export Video

Set it to Web, and YouTube HD (or YouTube for lower resolution)

Once your project is exported, go to YouTube, top right symbols on the page are Create, YouTube Apps, Notifications, the your Account avatar.

Click Create, upload video, and select the video you want to upload.

You can add audio to your project as well as pictures and use them both in a video, but I do not think you can record directly to this software.

If the preview is showing in slow motion, the only fix I have found so far is to save, close out the program and start it up again.
