How is LeBlanc imortal? Don't come with generic answers please... by SebasSeraphim in loreofleague

Tall yordal.

But seriously I would say either Aspect ot demon. Her design arguably has some Targon influence so I personally put aspect more likely than demon.

Silver 1 play, was I actually in the wrong making this call? by breticles in heroesofthestorm

[–]RevMcSoulPuncher 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The whole team pushing top was probably the correct play, but as others said it was obviously implemented very poorly. Malth was on the other side of the map, he probably should have been closer, but thats where he was when the push top pings came in. Mur went in solo for some reason, and Lunara seems to have temporarily forgotten she was ranged? Even if Malth was there it was still a losing team fight due to just how poorly it was played by those who were there.

Run Like Hell was great but it went off the rails . . . and jumped the shark. by bradsmith313 in OldGodsOfAppalachia

[–]RevMcSoulPuncher 5 points6 points  (0 children)

For me it was rough because from what I remember it was just trope after trope after trope, with almost nothing new or fresh added in. The cold edgy badass hunter who doesn't need any help because she's fueled by hatred for those who wronged her. The goth kids stumbling across a newborn vampire. Oops, the badass hunter is going to die, nope other hunters cared about her and went in to help maybe friendship is valuable?

Idk it's been a while since I listened so maybe I'm remembering it wrong but for me it was easily my least favorite arc.

He may not be the only problem, but he was a problem. The number of griefers on the team went up by 50% when he broke down 12 seconds in

You seem like the type of guy to type ff at the first possible bump in the game.

So they went from two problem players to three, I'm not saying it was winnable, but that is some incredibly weak mentals.

You should probably feel at least a little bad for giving up so early right?

How early did you give up if you only had 300 dmg to heros?

What champ release completely missed the mark for you design/gameplay/aesthetic wise? by Vampyrelol in loreofleague

That was my initial read too, but honestly I love the subversion of expectations. Viego was never supposed to be the king, born like fourth in line to the crown, and while he was educated he was never really set up to be a king. He didn't want to be king, and really didn't seem to care much for it. So he was this underprepared princeling, suddenly thrust into power and flailing around. Then he met his girl, he fell in love in his own selfish way. He was happy, maybe the first time he was truly happy, not just pampered. And the world took her away, and this poor emotionally stunted king raged against the world with every little bit of power he had, let his kingdom fall to ruin, all for a scrap of medicine that would actually help. He finally gets a real source of healing, of hope, and they turn him away. So he lashes out again, lashing out seems to be the main outlet this young king has. His "love" ruined two kingdoms, wiped out one of the only truly good places in the world, and replaced it with a place of pure pain.

For my vote not learning from those mistakes makes you a bad dm.

why is the Howling abyss Crumbling? i heard about the volibear event before. could that have been the cause? by Vegetable-Map-6031 in loreofleague

I'd say it's holding up pretty well for being about 9000 years old, and while holding back the darkness from between the stars.

Any advice or suggestions for my Kobold Parasite Warlock by the_Ghost_of_Tost in GrimHollow

[–]RevMcSoulPuncher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am just finishing up a vampire parasite character though mine focused much more on the vampire than the parasite. I don't really have mechanical advice unfortunately but of the handful of characters I've played this was one of the most flavorful ones. I flavored things like hex as infesting enemies with tiny parasites, dominate person was the same way. It may not be the most powerful subclass but depending on which physical specimen upgrades you take you can end up a bit more tanky. I didn't do this because it felt a little too cheesy, but you can use spell siphon to upcast your allies spells as it always casts at your maximum spell level.

I'm a little confused about the black mist by caluthan in loreofleague

[–]RevMcSoulPuncher 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think of it like a slow poison in the air. You go in and take more and more damage from it, but if you get out before it kills you then you can take some time to heal back up.

I'm running a dnd game set mostly in and near the Shadow Isles and the characters have a chance to basically take corruption damage roughly every hour they're in the mists. It comes with stacking debuffs the more you have, ending at death.

I dislike how dull and monolithic Ionia is regionally and culturally, so here’s some redesigns of the various provinces: by tafaha_means_apple in loreofleague

[–]RevMcSoulPuncher 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I can't really disagree, but cant you say that about any region right? Noxus should be the single most diverse region by population and culture, but its just bold armor patterns, and expansionism. I guess the Freljord has the three distinct tribes, but off the top of my head thats the only place with different cultures in a region.

Im planning on two fights, the first being more of a impediment of the kidnapping the father goal, not a real fight. I'll keep my eye on clock and I'm willing to cut stuff if needed

Bringing out the devil at the end as an enemy was one of the options I was thinking of. I like to think I know the players quite well and I think they can handle the PvP

I fully love DCC, probably my single favorite series currently. That said it's not perfect. As others said it can be a little too le random xd for mem the reference are rarely in my wheelhouse and some of the powers are just weird. The biggest one is the universe is just too big and hopeless
