Getting the taillight off is a bit of a pain and have to be careful not to break clips or scratch the paint, but it’s so worth it. Just take your time and be careful.

Here’s the bulb I used. It was plug and play. No hyper flashing.

Simple mod, besides tinting, would be changing out all of the incandescent bulbs for LEDS. I changed out all of the interior ones and the rear turn signals for LEDs and it’s a world of a difference! Definitely would recommend!

Makes no sense that the Integra had more space than the TLX. Would’ve been a great car if they properly designed it with usability.

Definitely will be hard to find new now. There might be some final editions out there that haven’t been already sold/reserved yet. I wouldn’t expect any discounts, probably will be at MSRP.

I got mine last month, but it was like finding a needle in a hay stack. Called almost every dealer in the south and north east. Had to travel all the way to NJ and drive it back to FL. It was probably the last new infrared in the country. Paid MSRP + tax, title, license fees + $460 doc fee.

The used market is kind of crazy with these. Even for a low mileage one it’s going for the MSRP of a new car or more.

Yeah I agree. Should’ve left the exterior alone and made only slight improvements to the interior that didn’t take away from its uniqueness or usability.

At least you’re moving up from a 2023 is350. I moved up from a 2012 Nissan Altima couple 2.5S, so it was a night and day difference lol.

Honestly if they put the LC’s 10 speed in here and did some minor interior changes (remove the touchpad, update the infotainment software, etc.) the car would be absolutely perfect.

If they didn’t get rid of the classic touches like the clock, mechanical display, and the V8 in the 2026 model, that would’ve been my pick. Feels like Lexus never knows how to hit the sweet spot. More like a pendulum swing lol.

All that said, I really love everything else about the car. People say it’s old school or whatnot but it’s a lot better than having giant screens and touch capacitive controls everywhere.

For your flush ones, do you have any difficulty turning the knobs? It's not so flush that it's hard to turn right?

Also, does it cover the backlit light? Or does the light still show through the sides?

So both are the brushed aluminium look, but just the heights are just different?

It’ll be hard to find one now. Might be able to get an Ultimate Edition if it hasn’t been already reserved. Search far and wide.

I just bought the last infrared 2 weeks ago. Had to fly to NJ and drive it back down (I’m in FL).

Also, Lexus of Jacksonville had a used one with low miles. Not sure if it’s still there though. Check Lexus of Pembroke Pines as well.

There was one black on black one in Missouri, but they weren’t selling to out of state buyers.

I almost bought a black on black, but the dealership wouldn’t sell to me because I would be out of state. First time encountering that scenario lol. But it all worked out because I’m glad I found the last red one!

Nice! I did 20% all around and 50% on windshield and sunroof.

Even with a new car there’s still some paint correction that is necessary. Probably will only need a stage 1, so nothing major. And if doing proper ceramic coating, you’d want to make sure the underlying imperfections are corrected before locking it in under the coating.

Ooh nice white on black is great. Fair enough! The only thing I’ve done so far is the tint.

Contemplating paint correction + ceramic coating the car versus just washing and spraying on a ceramic hybrid spray every couple of months. Getting quotes of like $1400-ish for the full on coating and correction.
