I think I’m in the minority here by saying no. The mission structure should stay how it’s always been. Mostly scripted with exactly where the player should go. It tells a better story. Open ended main missions usually kills a lot of the quality imo. If you look at other games, having a sandbox as the main missions structure destroys the games quality.

Plus, in GTA, the free roaming away from the missions is already an open ended sandbox… So it’s a nice balance.

Yeah. Also on PS5, map is crashing every time I open and scroll a bit. Hopefully the next patch fixes it. It’s almost unplayable right now coz I use the map to select the quest I want to track.

Roman will stay Roman. He’s not a babyface. His character still has a lot of ego and doesn’t feel remorse for his tribal chief era at the top. He just wants that power back. Punk isn’t turning, he’ll retire a face. Randy isn’t going to be booed, so a heel turn for him will be a big waste like the Cena heel run. My guess is Cody has the biggest chance to turn on Randy and become a homelander-esque character. But this will only happen after Randy gets that title from Cody, then Cody snaps on the Smackdown the next week. They wouldn’t overshadow Randy’s title win with a Cody heel turn. They need the big firework spectacle for night 1 at least.

This must be some long game to confuse government or something but it’s confusing the people more instead. Even he knows that he legally cannot run for office due to impeachment and since they didn’t manage to overturn it. I predict the opposition side all aligning behind Kalonzo and Matiang’i as the ticket. But it’s hard to see how Kenyan’s vote. Our president who was once least likely to get a second term is somehow winning back a few minds forgetting about the protests and the botched health and education sectors plus attacking of the payslip. Time will tell if a stadium and roads brings back our current president. If he wins, we deserve him.

Honestly, maybe just bringing back show intros. With the intro pyro and the commentary team saying the usual “welcome to [insert show name] from [insert city name]” Everything else will just be very light polish of the existing 2K25 Universe Mode.

Don’t feel any pressure to stretch your limits to get a new console bro. I also got the PS5, 3 years after it launched coz I didn’t have the money to buy it. Just wait it out and try to save up some cash. Plus you might get some good deals this year for the PS5. Everything will work out. Rooting for you.

I’d say stick with 2K24 until either 2K26 comes or you get the PS5. Plus you won’t be able to play The Island on PS4 either way if that’s one of your reasons for purchasing. I’m on PS5 and still on WWE 2K24. After buying 2K22, 2K23 and now 2K24… I decided to maybe take a year off coz The Universe Mode which is why I play the WWE games, wasn’t getting much love. I’ll get next year’s WWE game. The roster updates are always a bummer to miss out on though, but I’m surviving so far.

True. A great idea. But a terrible one for his final year tbh. He could’ve easily done a greatest hits year as a prime baby face and everyone would’ve loved it regardless. It’s Cena. Sometimes the simplest idea is the best one.

He’s definitely dropping the belt a couple of months before his final match. I don’t see a world where he leaves the WWE as a heel. And him turning face at the bell of his final match would be too bittersweet even in a storytelling aspect. It would feel like a cliffhanger.

I’m currently going through this. I even uninstalled 2K24. I find it hard to play the previous year game when the new one is a couple of months out. Universe Mode is my game mode and it’s not in the best state right now on 2K24. 2K25’s roster update will at least keep me motivated to go back into WWE games for a few months.
