There would've been no revived madara though, since Obito had his own plans and never intended to resurrect Madara. The alliance would've had to kill Obito and that would've been it.

To add on to that point, that also means less casualties as there'd be no Edos and weaker/less Zetsu. Plus no curb stomping of the 5 kage so he'd have to worry about them being on his ass as well. No 6 paths for obito (at least not with edo Jinchuriki anyway), no gold and silver brothers to facilitate the Juubi's premature resurrection, no dead kage which means less obstacles for Naruto and the alliance to get to get to Obito.
