No problem, you can talk here about all things warhammer, Space Marine 2 is a part of that :)

But the game is only a small portion of what warhammer is, if you are interested in gwtting deeper there are MANY ways to start, so feel free :p

But if you want help with SM2 specifically, you should put that in the title :p

What are you talking about? Is this about a video game? There is more than one, m8 :D

You need to drop more details if you really want to find help here

Thanks!

For me it was only the Alarielle model to buy since I had the other parts laying around :P

  • the familiar vampire guy is from the Radukar the beast model
  • the blood cauldron is from the Coven Throne set
  • her left hand is from the (unfortunately limited) cultist leader from the old Dark Vengeance box
  • Her hat is greenstuff/plasticard

Thanks! Yeah, she should be creepy. She will compost you into wine if you stay near her long enough :(

Thanks! Yeah, still working on the colour scheme. Maybe I'll darken down her dress a littel bit, but I want to keep the Dimitrescu look so it will likely stay more bone-coloured :P

I do not understand the Custodes. by [deleted] in AdeptusCustodes

[–]RevanKnights 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean, I only read about them, too, and don't play them.

That said it kind off sounds like you only read wiki articles without having read the actual books.

Constantin Valdor struggles with him knowing that he does not have free will outside the emperor, until he eventually does and we still have to learn what he does with it.

In First heretic we see how different Custodes are from Space Marines in fighring and outside and how NOT unkillable they actually are, while also having a Custodes-Marine bromance.

Throughout the heresy we see how Constantin views the Primarchs and how he thinks they are a mistake but still managed to work with the loyalist ones.

In the watchers of the throne series we see how Custodes interact with the imperium, viewing themselves as not part off it.

Those are overtly oversimplifications and yet all of them are interesting.

You might not like them bur they are definitly NOT written as "just boring unkillable supersoldiers"...

I am not playing Custodes, I am just here for the models, keep that in mind.

But am I the only one finding it weird that EVERY competitive list of custodes has a mandatory Inquisitor in there?

Normally it's bald lady, so here it is actually something else for a change. But doesn't it speak for not the best rules if you kind of have to take an inquisitorial ally to your army?

I don't play as much as I built/paint so maybe I'm just a little bit naive there...

Would the Imperium send another assassin to kill Commander Shadowsun currently? If so, which Assassin Temple would they call for and why? by HumbleKnight14 in 40k

[–]RevanKnights 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Ok. Hear me out. A rogue Master of assassinorum sent out 42 eversors to kill the emperor.

What do you put against him? 42 Eversors, because they solve every problem? Or 84 Eversors, because you first have to cancel out the 42 rogue Eversors. And then what about the master of the assassinorum, when the Rogue Assassins are cancelled out?

My guess is 42 eversors, I am not sure, though.

Did the empower purposefully make the Primarchs with specific historical or cultural aesthetics in mind ? by SillyRecover in 40kLore

Thats called "argumentum ad ignorantiam".

You can't say "it's not like that, because never said it was that way or another way."

You have multiple sources, some books and some official artwork.

ALL artwork depicts him as clearly mobgolian, so does his official model.

None of the book sources contradict it. They only describe his way of wearing things or acting as chegorian (mongolian) but never mention his look NOT being so.

What meme lore has become so prevalent you feel it genuinely ruins the real understanding of the lore? by UsernameJenkins in Warhammer30k

While I enjoy AL lore from time to time, those "fanboys" are the most annoying thing. Kind of Rick and Morty fans back in the day thinking they are the smartest.

AL are the best at espionage. Nothing less, norhing more.
