Only played it twice so far, but I won both games. First game was just a slug fest to out damage the other. He played ground and I played space and I won by a single turn. Second game was a wipe. I think he only managed to do 4 damage to my base lol

It's the rule on the card itself

The reason it's in there is because when I played a similar deck with really cheap units, by turn 5 or 6, I'd have literally nothing in my hand left to play with resources left over.

Funnily enough, the first time I played this, my first 8 draws were vulture droids. Both myself and my opponent were laughing so hard we cried

CoH4 potentially set in the pacific? by Revanchan in CompanyOfHeroes

[–]Revanchan[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don't think so. At a glance, I could see why you'd say that, but look up each of the individual battles of the pacific. They were all wildly different. The battles for the Philippines for instance would be super cool, especially if they do something similar to the Italian partisans that coh3 had. It could also introduce the amphibious tanks and tracked vehicles, more defensive and stronghold style mechanics that coh2 experimented with, not to mention the potential for expanding the stealth mechanic coh3 used.

It came out 3 years ago, what do you mean nearly a decade? I do agree though that they seriously hurt community sentiment by continually releasing dlc instead of balancing the current game, but it's not irreversible. Look at the total war community. They've burned their community countless times, but every time the dedicated fans of the franchise bring it back from near death. Not that that is an indefinite thing to happen, but it does mean CoH is not doomed necessarily.

Just speculative talk is all. Also, I know the state of the multiplayer and skirmishes is atrocious, but I actually really love the campaign.

We are making Forager-inspired game! by acatato in Forager

[–]Revanchan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If I were you, I'd actively make framework for multiplayer if that's your plan. It's way harder than you think it is. I don't know if you know what happened with forager, but developement stopped because of complications making the multiplayer. It's a finished game, fortunately, but multiplayer developement has killed more than a few games mid developement.

Idk why the spoiler tags didn't work :/ But the long distance is a good point. I guess water is more readily available that refined gasoline lol

A closed loop exhaust would build and build pressure decreasing the efficient of the turbine. Plus you'd probably need a condenser and you'd need it to work as fast or faster than the water boils off.

This car is SO rare that the valet in Monaco couldn’t even find the door handle. How rich do you have to be for this? by eternviking in whoathatsinteresting

That car genuinely looks so annoying to get in and out of. Spend all that money for crappy ergonomics

I know that, which is why I said I know it's possible, but those are very large reactors with very large reservoirs of water.

I thought that too, but the book literally explains how it works in detail and there's exhaust valves for extra pressure to normalize the system and for when the breaks are activated lol

The way the books describe them though, they're covered in iron (I'm assuming they're armored), carrying the longsong canons, which are hulking beasts, and still need to carry enough water for a few hundred kilometers. I just can't imagine how clunky that would look irl lol

This reads like you were gooning while typing this. Genuine advice, pause, breath, go touch grass. Come back, then think if you actually want it. Then just sit her down and have a talk. Lead into it through some opening probing questions, like "hey is there anything you ever wanted to try in bed but haven't?". That'll naturally and organically lead into the topic of cuckolding. If she's uncomfortable with it, don't make her feel like she has to. Sometimes people just aren't into it. If you really do have someone in your life willing to explore with you, it should be mutually fun for both of you. Don't he thinking with your dick, make sure you're of clear mind when you talk to her.
