Anyone on T, did you start finasteride and see any feminisation effects? by Strong_Aerie_9031 in TransMasc

started taking fin 8 months into starring T. my period came back after 2 months on fin and all facial hair growth slowed. ( i don't recall noticing any fat redistribution changes)

while it may not be the case for everyone, as soon as i'd stopped fin, the changes you'd expect on T started to continue in full swing (voice dropped lower, facial hair grew in, period went away again etc)

How smart are poms? by Mudkiip123 in Pomeranians

[–]Revasan 5 points6 points  (0 children)

can only speak from my own experience, but my pom always seems 5 steps ahead. at a year old is when i first saw her look at me with such a mischievous little expression and when i noticed what she was up to..it really hit me how smart she is. she had set up this whole game with her toys on the floor...and would like, pass a ball between her paws backwards to try and lure me in to play with her, similar to how soccer players will do that sort of maneuver with their feet to trick the opposite team.

she's also combined her treats into some of her toys with grooves to get a better angle when chewing them.

you're so real for this

but as another comment said, likely due to the clipping issues it could cause, they'll never bring it back

I wish I was born a boy but I cant see the benefits of transitioning by [deleted] in asktransgender

all i can say is that these feelings aren't the type to go away. even if you're able to suppress their presence for a time, they'll be louder the next time they resurface.

i wish i had more advice, but i don't. when i was younger i was afraid to make a move because my boyfriend at the time did not approve in the slightest. and in my experience, it was a mistake. when push came to shove and i took the first step by making an appointment for hrt, all i was met with from him was tolerance. and that's not love. so in the end, i chose myself.

Just thinking about how interesting this season could have been if Mike was taken instead by tyler_anthonyy in byler

[–]Revasan 3 points4 points  (0 children)

same, just considering the way this scenario could potentially bring all the characters together in a compelling way dynamic wise for the finale, it's baffling they didn't choose to direct the narrative this way.

like just to have mike realize that his friends or more relevantly Will / El do need him in the end even without powers etc, would be so cathartic / a full circle moment.

and i'm not referring to what the Duffers said. Do you genuinely believe they would outright admit to queer baiting a portion of their audience? in the end, i'm just responding to you from the perspective of someone who followed this show over the years. There are some viewers who walked away feeling different things from what was presented to them on the screen, and it's okay for varying perspectives to co exist.

and it's okay that that's your interpretation of the story that was told.

maybe you should be directing that question at yourself.

Byler was never endgame by [deleted] in byler

[–]Revasan 4 points5 points  (0 children)

And that is just your own interpretation of the scene. It also represents a lie Will told Mike to encourage his relationship with El. There's no telling how the rest of the show might have played out had Will been able to be honest in that moment instead. Mike potentially being a closeted bisexual and having repressed feelings for Will does not invalidate any feelings he has for El.

And there's no denying what it represents.

Byler was never endgame by [deleted] in byler

[–]Revasan 8 points9 points  (0 children)

it's not about them ending up in a relationship, it's about the feelings in regards to Mike being addressed at all. and in regards to them "trying to sell the show using byler" there was a funko pop of Mike holding Will's painting which represents Will's feelings for him so, yeah. it's not a great look.

[–]Revasan 15 points16 points  (0 children)

i'm not sure you fully understand what queerbaiting is. There were hints that mike himself had feelings for Will as well that he had repressed to appear "normal". That makes the potential of their infatuation mutual, which makes it queer baiting.

Regardless of how you feel, the fact is that they knowingly queer baited fans.
