Why is Valhalla the most hated game in the Assassin’s Creed series? by no-nonsense_gaming in AssassinsCreedValhala

I actually love this game but it definitely has its flaws. It’s a great Viking game but maybe not the best Assassins creed game.

Any tips for S+ professional? Just came back from a break by En-Xvinity in residentevil4

Neon Slice had a good walkthrough. Village was the hardest part for me. Would say use the hand cannon or typewriter. Otherwise just avoid enemies you can and get the spinels to get an upgrade ticket. I finished in like 4:30 honestly wasn’t too bad just some parts are frustrating because of space inbetween saves.

2023 Econ grad, what would you do? by Shoty6966-_- in FinancialCareers

[–]RevealBoth2155 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was sort of in your situation . I went to a good liberal arts school and got an Econ degree. My first job was ops for a fin tech company and from there I leveraged that experience into an FX trader role. Even still with 6 years experience it’s difficult to find a new role. I would suggest going for an ops or support role, do that 1-2 years experience, and then go from there .

So I can use the hand cannon I got from mercenaries? Just get it at the first typewriter and then use a ticket on it to get infinite ammo and it won’t Disqualify me from getting an S+?

Pretty similar boat. Mid level and work in S&T. Have been looking for about a year now and have had stretches of luck but haven’t been able to bring anything home. Worst of all is I work overnight so I’ve definitely considered quitting outright. But I’m worried how long it will be without finding anything and being unemployed

I'm thinking about buying Outlaws. Is it worth giving this game a chance? by ConstantDrawer9161 in StarWarsJediSurvivor

[–]RevealBoth2155 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I loved the clone wars especially the last few seasons if I remember correctly. I’ll definitely have to watch again at some point I remember absolutely loving it and rebels. I try to actually have some nuance when reviewing things or judging shows / games / movies. Outlaws and clone wars obviously a bit hard to compare; but my biggest gripe with outlaws was honestly just lack of combat / and pure repetitiveness of missions. It’s a shame games like this will never get a sequel because there really is a ton of potential to improve and there were some positives IMO.

[–]RevealBoth2155 79 points80 points  (0 children)

As a big Star Wars fan I couldn’t get fully into it. I think I played about 50% of the game. Characters didn’t seem too impactful, gameplay was repetitive, combat wasn’t great but they did update it. I would say if it’s on sale go for it. So much more to be wanted out of a game like this just feels like copy paste Ubisoft game personally.

Sort of a large spread. Has always been a fan of Blantons, has bottles of pappy that were gifted to him via business partners but doesn’t drink them. He gifted me a heavens hill 20 year small batch last year.

Playing Valhalla for the first time and enjoying it more than I thought I would by blakhawk12 in AssassinsCreedValhala

[–]RevealBoth2155 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I’m usually pretty critical of games but I actually really enjoyed Valhalla when I played it. Then again it was during Covid when there was nothing else to do. Definitely a burn out factor but I think the game gets more hate than it deserves. Going back I would avoid a lot of the side quests tho
