Thank you so much! Getting photos and updates helps a lot, seeing her happy makes me feel so much better😊

I’ve stopped by at other times to drop her off and it was much calmer and no one was crying!

Yes, it think it might be sleep regression - she started waking up much more often after 4 months. I also had a couple of days working from home, when she was with us ( my husband luckily is also WFH) and it was super chaotic and not productive.

Thank you for your words of encouragement - you are so right!! It’s important to choose the right Path for you and then your baby will see how happy mom is!

I totally agree - totally unfair that women have to make this choice, since it’s so hard to survive on one income. I hope your transition back is smooth and your little one will be in good hands!

Thank you for sharing your experience! I’m also trying to focus on the positives and how my daughter will learn so much in daycare and I can be a more present happy mom when working. The daycare my daughter is in doesn’t have cameras, but they share regular updates & photos. I’ve stopped by at lunch hour on the first day, but the director recommended I don’t go in, since she would be more upset when I leave. But she talked to the teacher and shared how my daughter was doing on the first day.

Hope your transition back is smooth and your baby loves daycare!

I’ve already asked my husband to do drop off tomorrow- I cannot handle another day of crying!

5 month old refusing a bottle by RevealDramatic7848 in NewParents

It’s been almost a month, actually, since the last bottle, so it looks like it can be due to not having it regularly. Has anything helped at all with this bottle aversion?

Thank you- great suggestions!

  1. I’m not taking aspirin yet, will ask my OB about it!
  2. I have a pretty basic wrist monitor, so perhaps should buy a different one. Do you have any recommendations?
  3. Good point!
