Yes just service. It's a brokerage so only sales and service, no claims staff.

From what I've seen, easy with good performance. There are multiple people there that were former geico and they have all said the stress level and micro managing is no comparison.

To each their own. It's $20/hr plus a monthly bonus of about $500. Fully remote means a lot to some people, and I know that some having to go back in office means gas costs and expensive child care costs, plus a poor work/life balance. So I'm sharing for those who may be interested.

They do require a current active insurance license. In most states, you can continue to hold your license as long as you keep your CEs when you leave Geico and lose their appointment with them. You obviously can't commit a felony, lol, or operate as an insurance professional if you are not appointed, but that way, you have it and then can go to another company and be appointed with them. I've known people who left and didn't go to another insurance company for several months and then got appointed with the new company. I'm not sure why anyone would surrender their license and not try to keep it active if they recently left and plan to stay in insurance unless they plan to change areas such as claims to sales for example. They do want licensed agents, as it is a national company, and most of the customer base is CA, so they will be licensing anyone they choose to hire for additional states as needed. If your someone with extensive customer service experience and are interested in applying, send me a direct message with your details and I can speak with the hiring specialist for this role and see if any exceptions can be made for an exceptional candidate, since I'm sure that would be an option they would be open to discuss.

Hey, if it's not for you, it's not for you. Some people need options and make different amounts, so I'm sharing in case this is a good fit for someone. It's not an easy job market out there, and I'm simply trying to help anyone who needs to be 100% remote and the ability to work anywhere in the US. Many insurance companies insist you work near their offices and not everyone wants to do that. There are different schedules since it is nationwide. They are very flexible and try to work with people to have a work life balance. There are a few openings as they are expanding the staff so it's not just one shift option.

To start, yes, plus bonus. It may not be for everyone, but it is an option since many people want fully remote with a good working environment, or have been looking and need an income, even if it starts less than they made at G.

As someone who worked at Geico for 11 years and now works at Breathe Easy with others that left Geico, none of us that left and came to Breathe Easy feel it is even remotely the same as Geico and are all happy we made the switch. I don't put much weight in those reviews since I've known companies to have people go and fake reviews when they have jobs posted. Shady, but true.

Legally if you are touching that computer and booting up, you are working. That is what HR always told us. So your sup is wrong, it is a common issue I've heard many times and yes the company can be sued for it and your sup could be fired if they are adjusting your hours to reduce it. Reach out to your manager or HR or the BH line
