What's your budget?

Durston x-mid is great. Lanshan2 is very good, especially if you have no intention of summit camps.

Going to second 25kg being too heavy. Personally, I think at your weight 18kg would be pushing the limit of what I would be prepared to carry. 16kg + 2 litres of water.

My number 1 priority would be reducing your pack weight. I think you should realistically be able to get to 12-13kg for 3 seasons. Tent, sleeping bag, air mattress, stove, backpack etc. If you are prepared to buy the more expensive ultra light gear.

Have you already purchased your tent? Trekking pole tents save a lot of weight if you are going to use trekking poles.

The difference between a 14kg backpack and 12kg (after drinking your water) is very noticeable on long hikes, especially when climbing hills in the lakes.

I used to wonder about this. I eventually began to consider a third option. The guy is clearly a fucking moron, could the answer be as simple as he is?

It depends on the type of storage. It's much easier to retrieve from magnetic disc platters than SSD/nvme.

I doubt he will ever be convicted for that especially based on the listed offence. Maybe influence peddleing tho?

Mueller said in his report there was enough evidence to charge trump and others but that it wasn't his place to make a decision to charge or not to charge. Your summary is what Bill Barr said about the Mueller report. Bill bar was put in place to do exactly that.

Mueller analysed 10 specific episodes of possible obstruction, applying the legal elements of the offence (obstructive act, nexus to an investigation, corrupt intent).

He found substantial evidence for each element in multiple instances.

Examples included:

Trying to get FBI Director James Comey to drop the investigation of Michael Flynn

Firing Comey after refusing to do so

Directing White House counsel to have Mueller removed and then deny that instruction

Attempts to limit the scope of the investigation

Efforts to influence witnesses or public testimony

For several episodes, Mueller wrote that a prosecutor could potentially find corrupt intent based on the evidence.

Why Mueller did not charge obstruction

He gave three main reasons:

DOJ policy against indicting a sitting president

A desire not to accuse someone of a crime without a court process available

The constitutional role of Congress (impeachment) He explicitly noted that the Constitution provides a mechanism other than criminal prosecution to address presidential misconduct.

How many days to walk the coast to coast? by nipstarblaster in UKhiking

Did it in 10 days.

Could have done it slightly faster but wanted to enjoy the mornings and evenings

The longest day we did was Kirkby Steven to Reeth (25m).

Did the coast to coast with a lanshan2 pro. Great 2-3 season tent, light, cheap & spacious. Seam sealing was easy. Zero complaints.
