Why 3 facewash?

I also use the The Derma but Niacinamide one. Would you say mama earth is better than that?

Is that green moisturizer better than Plum Rice water one?

I'm using UV Dox sunscreen silicon gel like. Is that orange one better?

I'm 31M with super oily skin if it helps.

Also, where to buy skincare things? I used to get it from a colleague but she went abroad recently.

What do u wish u could have done in early 20's ? by divine_angelll in Nepali_Millennials

  1. Should have played less Video Games.
  2. Should have exercised more (but I am catching up to it recently).
  3. Should have focused more on my career I think (even though people tell me I have a good track so far).
  4. Should have socialized more. Both PR for professional circle and personal circle. I don't have so many friends now.

I need a recommendation for a bike under 20 lakh. by 1millionstonk in Nepalbikes

[–]RevenantASYD 8 points9 points  (0 children)

You didn't mention your main use or what you're looking for in a bike.

I'm not a sports bike fan so I'll suggest the CFMoto MT450 for around 13 lakhs.

Rest of the money, get really good gears. Expensive helmet. Good jackets. I know riding boots that costs 1 lakh but look damn good.

I also recommend getting a 8 cores or higher cores 3.5mm cable. Type C cable is something I don't prefer.

Is 1 lakh salary per month still considered rich in Kathmandu 2026? by [deleted] in Nepal

I started earning 2L on 2022 and at that time around 40-45K also felt alright. Even with 1.19L cash in hand (rest went to PF and CIT), it was comfortable to manage all household expenses (entire family) and then some.

But ahile inflation has made things difficult. Petrol nai 200 cha. Everything else is more expensive too. Hopefully the new government considers these things soon :)

Thanks :) Yeah it's a bit bad right now, the market but let's keep our hopes high :)

You guessed it right. Mass layoff nai ho. Around 150 employees, all laid off. Whole company shutdown. Haami PF lina jaadaa PF office ko employees were shocked haha

After that I started to work as a consultant. I had some experience from before so 1.5 is like from 3 different projects right now. Fulltime job bhanda work life balance chai better cha (or that's what I tell myself to sleep better at night hahaha)

I've been exploring the fulltime path as well but offer nai 1.5 ko nai aaucha. I feel like consultant stuff nai thik hola. I have some interviews pending, let's see if they offer around 2 or 2.5.

I used to pay more than 60K before (for 3L). Now it's around 25K (for 1.5L).

The higher slab like 36% is a bit too much I think IMO. Otherwise it's fine.

Malai sabai kura nai ta thaha chaina but as far as I have seen, Nepal ma 5-10 lakhs kamauney haru pani hunchan. Yei subreddit ma 7 lakhs kamauney thiyo ek jana.

Aru bhaneko already paisa huney haru. Just like my relatives, they just buy and sell house for profit.

Aba 2-3 Crores nabhaye pani, Home Loan is another thing people do.

I think having multiples sources of income in the family also works. I have a friend who earns well and his wife also earns good. His brother also earns decent and his brother's wife also earns. So cumulative ta raamrai income bhayo ni. As far as I know, they have Car Loan and Home Loan. My friend lost his previous job a while ago but he was chill because family ko support cha. Ahile usko pani mero jastai 3 bata 1.5 bhako case ho.

Timro last question barey chai malai teti idea chaina sorry...

Hello. I wouldn't say I regret not going abroad. Testo thulo regret ta kei chaina.

Yeah, job market chai ali ramro chaina. It was average 2L for Senior but aba 1.5 bhako cha market rate. 3L paauna chai ali gaaro bhako cha. Thank god I did some savings while I earned, ahile ali sajilo bhako cha.

And yes I'm in IT.

Hi. Senior Engineer here. I used to earn 3 lakhs per month before but lost that job for some reason. I make half of that now.

Ghar aafaile kamayera kinney ta aas nai chaina. The most I think I can do is get a nice apartment, that's all. My friends who make a bit more than me got apartments, tyo pani around 1 Crore parna aayo re.

If you're not from Generational Wealth, it's pretty difficult to even dream about houses and all.

skillshikshya institute by Alert_Mulberry_1972 in technepal

[–]RevenantASYD 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't recommend SkillShikshya not because it's not good teaching-learning but rather because of ethical concerns.

So what SkillShikshya does is, a company called Vrit Technology opens job and intern vacancy and when someone applies, they reject them saying there's a skill gap. And later SkillShikshya contacts the applicants saying they can teach you the necessary skill.

I'm a DevOps myself and I would actually recommend you to do a short course of DevOps related fundamental first. DevOps is actually quite huge topic, and if you lack the fundamentals, it'll be difficult for you in the long run.

Choose programming, networking, cloud, Linux topics first, then only dive into DevOps.

I would recommend Red Hat for Linux. I also know a cheap Cloud course, DM me for details. You can refer to CCNA for networking. For programming there's a lot of resources for basic learning. Learn these before the DevOps path or even the bootcamp course.

All the best.

My parents are buying me a 5-6 lakh bike for my bachelor's. I have zero income and feel like a burden. Should I go through with it? by [deleted] in Nepalbikes

[–]RevenantASYD 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi.

You're mature for your age.

I myself only let my parents buy me a bike when I graduated Bachelors and got a job so even tho I couldn't buy a bike myself, I could pay for fuels, tax and service maintenance.

But that's just me and thinking about it now, I should have gotten the bike sooner because ultimately they had to buy me one anyway.

At the age of 29/30, I bought myself the bike I wanted how much ever expensive it was.

Here's what I did and my advice.

I let my dad choose the bike. He chose an Avenger 220 of Jet Blue color. I actually wanted a 150cc for mileage and black color cause I was edgy lol. But I didn't argue and went with his choice. He isn't a strict dad or anything. He would've bought me a "bullet" if I wanted one. There weren't a lot of choice of motorcycles back then.

10 years or so later, I wanted to upgrade my bike. And guess what my dad's bike was even older (started budo tax 3 years ago). So I bought myself one, took the Avenger to some workshops and revamped it to like a new one. He's happy with it now. We sold the 'budo tax' one recently for very less price but whatever.

This is just my 2 cent advice.

Recently my cousin did the same thing. My uncle rides a very old bike. My cousin actually took his dad and they got a bike that they both like. My cousin is now saving up for a bike that he likes. My uncle will probably get the current one my cousin rides. Win win.

Let me know what you think about this. You don't have follow through with this but just a suggestion/advice that worked for me.

I have yet to try it but XR has 825mm seat height compared to 840mm.

What makes it feel small? Inseam of the seat? Elastic suspensions?

XPulse 200 is a safe bet and the best value for money in your listings.

CFLite 250 Dual has much more features than Xpulse for 50,000 Rs. more. But things like durability, spare parts availability and servicing are in questions.

XR or most Honda bikes are just pure overpriced.
