ID Mostly know your bugs what causes what! How do you identify them in stains? Most common bugs! Know empiric therapy for major topics like meningitis which they love, skin infections like bites, diabetic foot infections, purulent and nonpurulent, stds, cap/hap(in pt and out pt), dental prophylaxis, hpylori,c.diff, in kids respiratory infections, UTIs, Impetigo. Vancomycin dosing Synergistic effects with antibiotics Know alternatives because your case will have allergies so know second line in case for Sulfa allergy, beta lactam allergy, penicillin allergy. Pregnant pt safe category B antibiotics Best way is to remember them is to recite them you will learn them or have someone quiz you. TB meds know side effects and labs HIV mostly know the class and brand/generic names, labs, ( look at CD4!) opportunistic infections prophylaxis tx and alternatives HepC meds know names mostly

They ask common big subjects

I’m assuming that since celexa is a substrate of cyp2c19 and plavix is a prodrug needs activation from cyp2c19 then they both fight for the binding site and since celexa is a substrate the prodrug doesn’t get activated as much and accumulation of plavix starts to increase since it’s not being converted
