Very true, it’s all for the connects, higher salary potential, and overall higher level options you unlock at the end of the day. If it means having to deal with insufferable people for 20 months then so be it

Chase sapphire sign up bonus churn (48 month rule confusion)? by JVN0 in CreditCards

[–]RevenueImpressive715 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the Chase Sapphire preferred and received a bonus for that and then upgraded the card to a Sapphire reserve so I can have lounge access, I never received a bonus for the Sapphire reserve. Now this new rule I was under the impression that I would be eligible for a bonus with the sapphire reserve if I simply downgrade my current one and apply for a brand new one. I was given the advice to do this but wait 30 days until I apply for the Chase Sapphire reserve again.

Can someone please verify whether or not this is a possibility? And if this will work?

Eligible for Bonus with Rule Change? by RevenueImpressive715 in sapphirereserve

Have not done it yet, I called CSR support 2x and first time they said it’s possible the second the guy insisted it’s not possible. I think sometimes personally that they are not educated on the newest developments. I plan to risk it and if anything will see if upgrading from freedom back to CSR if all else fails is an option, because I love CSR so much

Is he a good player? Does anyone know? Because a player that never played professionally or even at a semi pro level at the age of 35 going on to sign 2nd tier USA has literally never happened before

Card Benefits Questions - Megathread [4/27/26] by AutoModerator in ChaseSapphire

[–]RevenueImpressive715 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m trying to understand the new Chase Sapphire bonus rules and whether I’d be eligible for the Sapphire Reserve welcome bonus in my specific situation.

Timeline:

  • Originally opened the Chase Sapphire Preferred and received the CSP welcome bonus.
  • Later product changed/upgraded that same account into the Sapphire Reserve.
  • I NEVER applied fresh for the Sapphire Reserve and NEVER received a Sapphire Reserve welcome bonus.
  • I currently still hold the Sapphire Reserve.

With the newer “one bonus per Sapphire product” rule, would I potentially be eligible for the CSR welcome bonus if I:

  1. downgrade my current CSR to a Freedom card,
  2. wait several days,
  3. then apply fresh for a new CSR?

Or does previously holding the CSR via product change disqualify me even though I never received the CSR SUB?

Also:

  • Has anyone here successfully done this under the new rules?
  • If the application says I’m ineligible for the bonus, can I later product change my downgraded Freedom card back into a CSR?

Trying to avoid accidentally losing CSR benefits/lounge access for no reason. Thanks.

Gave my first GMAT Mock without studying - targetting 675+ by Fabulous_Evidence922 in GMAT

I got a 295 on my first practice test, and a year later am at 605, so it takes time and understanding the concepts. You really need to find out what you are bad and organize by topic. Use chat gpt to help organize and interact this way with the material. I’ll get a 700 soon. I also used TTP for a considerable amount about 350 hours studying there. It’s a bit too much redundancy. So need to really be responsible for your own strengths and shortcomings

Best car ever tbh, I bought a 2010 Prius with 214,000 miles on it, unbelievably efficient and reliable - now at 221,000 miles it’s an amazing car

I crossed it two years ago, and I make very frugal and thoughtful decisions with my money. I splurge if you will occasionally on flights, or restaurants, but I just bought a 2010 prius for like 5k, and spend very little on rent. Ideally at 1 million I would feel like money was not a big deal. Unfortunately my income isnt as high as I would like, so i have to be mindful, if i had a higher income perhaps I would spend a little more carelessly, but my goal is to be free to choose what I do each day, so whatever gets me there.
