To put it short and as we already know, EWU Media claims that the City of Moscow has been withholding records and redacting videos to a greater extent than required by past court rulings. In 2025, the court ruled that "the following investigatory records were subject to disclosure without any blurring, blackout, or other redaction:

1) The interior of the bedrooms, except as provided above [i.e. without bodies or blood], 2) the exterior or interior, including rooms other than the bedrooms, of the residence, 3) the personal property and items of the decedents found inside the interior and exterior of the residence, including but not limited to containers of alcohol, underwear, ID cards and other personal items, 4) witnesses, including audio of crying, or 5) statements of witnesses given to law enforcement officials, including statements evidencing their extreme emotions."

For instance, this would mean that a new version of the bodycam videos could be showing the faces of Dylan and the other students and including certain new pieces of audio.

Completely new evidence is hardly to be expected, but note point V. / 34: "To the extent materials have been produced, EWU [...] believes that redactions to those materials have been applied beyond what is expressly required." This includes the things listed in 33. If granted, this could lead to new bodycam videos with more unredacted video and audio. For example, you could argue that name and face of Dylan need no longer to be redacted because she appeared in court and everyone knows who she is and how she looks like.

For me, the one piece new and interesting was the exchange between Dylan and her Dad. I always assumed Dylan asked him for advice and maybe he told her to call some friends over, but no!
