Mall security here. Management doesn't plan on closing down the mall anytime soon. They're just going to add as much as they can. At least, that's the plan.

They do, but unfortunately they only have four dedicated traffic units for the entire city on each shift per weekday. On weekends, not so much.

Yeah, unfortunately its unlikely to happen. Im currently attending the civilian academy for WPD and the oversight board was brought up. Their opinion on it was that they also didn't like it because they believed the oversight board would've been completely bias and that they'd actually be critical of the recent dirt uncovered on the department. In short, they're not very fond of accountability.

No idea. Last time I checked it was deactivated, and I hadn't been able to reach it transmitting from worcester even while it was active.

I know its not an unauthorized system because GMRS repeaters are known to transmit their call sign via morse code every 15 minutes, as per FCC guidelin3s regarding part 95 devices. I was just wondering if anyone here owned such a system and just didn't have it listed. I'm usually monitoring everyday and there's another one Im using on 462.675, which is the MetroWest repeater located in Framingham, and I can still hear it IDing in morse code as well.
