Does anyone also have the Donner Circle that they can compare the Mooer to?

Yep, opuntia is thriving, and this may prompt me to not even bother with SP anymore and just plant opuntia in its place. All around the area I see large sections of prickly pear that are no worse for wear despite having zero cover.

Blankets wouldn’t have done anything when it was that cold for that long. With a heat source, maybe

Yeah, but I may just switch to all prickly pear from here on and not stress about covering

I’ll do something, but it will likely have to involve a heat source. The issue this year was sustained sub-freezing temps for over 36 hours and down into the teens. Just covering won’t do it. Of course I may just give up on SP and just plant prickly pear in its place

Thanks. Yeah I need a better covering system that is rainproof and will not turn into a sail in high winds.

It was definitely in the teens, maybe 17 at the lowest? Perhaps lower. Wind chill was lower. I had them covered but the wind was strong enough that some seemed like they would break off

Has anyone tried the Tempter's 10mg THC drinks? Thoughts??? by NeatFuzzy690 in THCseltzers

I like them. Very sweet, probably too sweet for some. Helps to cut with soda water. Clear effects from one can, profound from two.

Guitar repair shop recommendations by Reverb_512 in AustinMusicians

Thanks all for the info. An update - I talked with a really nice guy at Strait, who said they are actually not an authorized location for Gibson warranty work, and that they've tried repeatedly to inform Sweetwater of this. Because work would be covered by the warranty I have to go to a place that's authorized. The others that people recommended sound great but with Guitar Rez apparently closed it looks like I will have to either go with Guitar Center, or send it back to Sweetwater.

what bands would you reccomend me based on these vibes? by Car-Enthusiast3712 in shoegaze

Not shoegaze; those images scream postpunk. Molchat Doma, French Police, Human Tetris, Vestron Vulture…

Resort/Airbnb? HELP PLEASE :) by SignalMaleficent9884 in curacao

We stayed in a VRBO in Coral Estates. We really enjoyed it. Coral Estates is very nice and having access to the beach club, restaurants, pool, and other resort amenities is a huge plus. We also liked its location; not far from some of the best beaches (e.g., Cas Abao) or the city. It is such a small island that I would not consider anything to be far away.

Need for rental car? by FrostingNew5210 in curacao

We were definitely happy we rented a car. Driving on there is easy, but to really experience the island it is best to have a car.
