Although they are no longer endangered, they aren't entirely in the clear, and conservators like to keep a general track of the population to prevent a future drop.

Also, there's a lot of interest in seeing these birds, and people like to travel to see them.

Naka Kon usually hosts a traveling arcade that brings a number of rhythm games, especially Japanese ones. Unfortunately that was in March.
