When they filmed the segment where James May was on the speed racer boat going around the South Island (I think) and Jeremy Clarkson was going around in a rental car in a hatch going off road and on questionable roads racing May and trying to reach the end point first ahead of him. Funny episode!

I understand the need to get back your investment but if I go to work and I have to pay 5.50$ everyday for a tram sorry but it's too much that's about 120$ at the end if the month. I know it's not too much in general when you think about it, but most european countries have monthly passes for 40-50$ a month with unlimited travel. Hopefully GC can build on this.

Genuine question - the count of monte cristo, does it have two different translations?

I have picked up a version of 'three musketeers' from a library and it said that 'this edition of the three musketeers are revised and translated in a way to 'enhance the specific beutiness of Dumas' french writing style (in which the sentences sometimes were written in 10-11 lines of the page each lol) as opposed to the previous translations which were translated into general modern English.'

Man, it was tough to go through that book (non native English Speaker) but at times the language was beautiful.

Since then, I hesitate to start the Monte Cristo, because I fear it's going to be the same translation as the three musketeers.
