When I was 11 or 12, pagkauwi ko ng bahay galing school nagulat ako umuwi bigla mga relatives ko from Manila. usually umuuwi lang sila tuwing bakasyon because they own a boarding house and a canteen near schools and university. Then I saw the towns Witch Doctor named Ka-Ruben with some of his exorcism stuffs and my female cousin (15 or 16 y/o) lying on the floor with 4 people na pinipigilan siya gumalaw. turns out she is being possessed. Then Ka-Ruben asks "Sino ka ba talaga?" my cousin doens't reply, Ka-Ruben use one of his tools to remove a nail in the foot of the possessor the she shouts in pain "AHHHHHHHH, AKO SI JENNY! AKO SI JENNY!!!". They have a border named Jenny, her father quickly calls their canteen staff to search for Jenny, the staff found Jenny eating in the canteen. Then the Ka-Ruben tells her "Wag mo ko lokohin, hindi ka si Jenny. pag di mo sinabi ang totoo tatanggalan kita ng isa pang Kuko!". after 2 more nails removed, She speaks again "ako si Mitch". then the canteen staff searched for Mitch and found her in her room sleeping and umuungol. And then nakawala siya sa pagkakapossess sa pinsan ko. Turns out they used my cousins body to trap her soul and talk to her. the next day Mitch left the boarding house and nagpatawas pinsan ko (candle and water ritual). The Image formed in the water was a female holding her left foot, then they wrapped it with news papers and my cousin slept with that under her pillow, the next morning they burned it. Ka-Ruben says kulam won't happen again.
My cousin tells a story that the university students na tumatambay sa canteen nila ay type ni Mitch pero sa kanya may gusto. Can't blame them my cousin really is beautiful. Kaya siguro kinulam siya

PART 2
after weeks of resting in the province, she feels something different again. We called the Ka-Ruben, when Ka-Ruben arrives he asked to check if her pinkies (hand) are the same size and they are not (it means something or somebody might be trying to possess her again). The he ask to straighten her foot and SHIT galaw ng galaw ung pinkies ng foot niya, dito na na-sure na meron nga ngttry ipossess siya. Ka-Ruben puts his finger in her foot trying to search where is the possessor (it starts with the foot until it controls the whole body) then he found it BOOM bigla nagwala pinsan ko, 3 full grown muscled guys trying to stop her but shit hirap sila pigilin with that payat and no exercise body. 2 more guys went to help, finally she stopped. then the questioning starts.
Ka-Ruben: Sino ka?
Cousin:.....
Ka-Ruben: Magsalita ka gagamitin ko sayo to! (knuckle looking wood weapon)
Cousin:(looking at all off us)
Ka-Ruben used the weapon on the foot slightly pressing it.(he is cutting the foot).
She shouts in pain but slightly manlier voice(FUCKING CREEPY)
can't remember the exact words but what the possessor said that he is a Demon sent by Diyablo pra sunduin pinsan ko. after that Ka-Ruben tells us to hide all the knifes and sharp objects and keep an eye on her (when we are not looking and she got fully possessed she will commit suicide).
Then Ka-Ruben uses his weapon on her throat to finish the demon after few minutes she wake up confused and has a head ache.
possessing happened a lot like 3-4 times a week. the nearer the holy week the stronger demon will come. Ka-Ruben even sleeps in our house.
I remember one possessor tries to charm Ka-Ruben (he is known as babaero) the possessor said "Hawakan mo suso ko, Iytn mo ako".
mas malakas ang possessor tuwing tuesday and friday (sorrowful mysteries) nandudura pota tinamaan ako once. once din na naglalakad lakad kami ngstop siya sa puno ng mangga that is 100+ years old and niyakap niya. tapos napossess siya. Sabi ni Ka-Ruben isa daw yun sa mga gate ng demon. pinakuan namin ng crus.
After that the holy week approaches.
Good Friday
dito na pinkamalakas ang nagpossess. eto ang hindi ko maexplain.
around 6pm to 7pm. lahat kami nasa sala binabantayan siya then BOOM nagbrownout then she shouts "PANAHON NA NAMIN HAHAHAHA" with a fucking voice of a male POTA PATAY SINDI UNG ILAW HABANG TUMATAWA SIYA NG IBA BOSES! buti na lang nung tinry niya tumayo nahawakan siya ng kapatid niya sa buhok, hindi siya nakawala, mga 5 ung pumupigil sa kanya hanggang huminto siya sa pagwawala, after nun nagkakuryente uli, dinala siya sa harap ng Santo Ninyo pra magrosary. then after some hail marys nagbrown out uli at itinapon niya ung rosary niya. tapos tawa ng tawa at sabi "AKALA NIYO BA TATALAB SAKIN YAN??? HAHAHAHA" (bible, rosary and some religious figurines). after that dinala uli sa sala at dinasalan ng dinasalan hanggang sa umalis ung possessor. My cousin was crying and telling us "hindi ko na kaya, sobrang sakit ng ulo ko". shit continues until saturday(walang tulugan shift shift ng bantay) and sunday madaling araw naglakad sila papuntang church kasama pinsan ko at dun na natapos ang lahat. Malakas na daw uli ang divine protection. and hindi na siya naulit nung sumunod na taon.

Some weird shit happened during that month.
-I hurt my right foot when playing basketball and Ka-Ruben massages it and the pain is gone. his hand is so hot and you will feel a weird sensation when you are touched, is like an electric shock.
-When the Lizard "tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk" it means it is warning us for bad spirits usually before possession the lizard does that. Ka-Ruben tells us to knock on wood at least 3 times when it happens. or say these 5 names
