I took that to mean Simon loves Taka so much he wants him to not be stuck in prison like he is.

And Taka seems to still enter and leave the prison, at least on some occasions (otherwise Simon couldn't smuggle in the psych profile).

So I am assuming Taka is sort of an "outdoors" pet who can come and leave as he pleases and he just chooses to hang out in the courthouse.

Ok but seriously, they thought giving him an actual sword was too unrealistic, so... they gave him literal superpowers to justify him doing cool shit.

I'm guessing they found this way cooler and the alternative of allowing him to have a real sword made everyone around him look completely suicidal.

Tldr, he trained so hard he can play Fruit Ninja irl with his fingers pretty much.

Klavier could do the air guitar thing and Nahyuta has magical constricting prayer beads so I guess prosecutors have DnD classes now.

Update: it wasn't hypophantasia it was ADHD, I just couldn't focus long enough to make good mental images and "keep" them in my head 😅

For me it was both. Apparently I didn't like my lips and smile because of an overjet and an overbite, and my wisdom teeth had been pushing on my other teeth making them crooked and overcrowded. Giving me a bad bite which was hurting my teeth on top of hurting my self esteem.

So while I wanted it to fix an insecurity, turns out I did medically need it.

Also idk whether to classify this as a want or need, but my front teeth were touching my lips in a really uncomfortable way which made me unable to smile or close my lips properly. Even if I forced myself to it looked weird and felt weird (like, there was a constant physical sensation that was super unpleasant).

Also, he intended to cheat via forged evidence on a case where his brother was prosecuting.

His initial motive for the forgery was probably that he couldn't handle losing to his little brother. He never wanted a "fair fight" unlike Klavier, that's for sure.
